I just got the Ultra 2. Wearing it for 5 days. Last night the sleep tracking was all over the place. It recorded 2 hours of deep sleep and 3 hours of snoring but the inbetween times apparently I was awake. How can i go from awake to deep sleep and back? And how can I snore when I am awake? There is something very wrong with your algo or the sensors and you need to fix it. Never had this problem with watch 7. The sensors are clean and I am wearing it correctly. This Ultra 2 is too expensive for it not to be working at least as well as the previous watches....

I'm having the same issue, only it's not tracking my sleep at all. I had ZERO issues with the Ultra 1.

I have inconsistences on the Ultra 2. The comparison to my previous watch a 2019 Galaxy Watch is totally different. The original watch seems to be accuate to my physical sleep pattern, the Ultra 2 is nothing like my physical sleep pattern. I have indications of excessive awake times, as much as three hours! Tghis is totally wrong.
Comparing the sleep graphs between the 2019 watch and the Ultra 2, the sleep times are very close to each other and my physical sleep time, but the AWAKE time is totally incorrect on the Ultra 2 and accurate on the 2019 watch.
I appreciate the new sensors are vastly improved but the detection of the sleep pattern on thre Ultra 2 is completly inacurate.
Samsung, are you listening!!!

Same here. Not all of the nights, but some of them, around 1-2 nights from a week the watch(ultra 2) says I was sleeping only for 2 hours, the other 6 hours I was awake. This is really strange, because today it happened again and I slept good. Also the watch is telling me that my sleeping hrv was high(114, when normally it is around 40). I never had such a problem with my galaxy ring.
And this watch can not detect my day sleep at all. I slept 3 or 4 times during a day and they never recorded any. But once, when I was in a car with my girlfriend driving, they did record sleep session(i was not sleeping ofc). Same thing in a movie theater:)

Sleep tracking worked normally at first, but then suddenly stopped completely. There is no sleep record on the watch itself, so this is not a synchronization issue.
I restarted the watch and changed several sleep-related settings, including turning Snore Detection off, and eventually sleep tracking worked again for one night. However, without changing anything afterward, it stopped working again the following night.
I also recently updated the watch to the latest software. The watch is worn normally overnight and has plenty of battery.
It seems like there may be an intermittent software/firmware issue with sleep detection on the Ultra 2. Hopefully Samsung can investigate this.
