Just recently got the watch ultra 2 and loving it but having a nagging issue.
After realizing that not all of my permissions were active for sleep tracking and getting all of that set up now I'm starting to get some data. When I wake up the only recorded sleep is from about 1am-2am till my alarm goes off and I get out of bed.
I just slept all night but my watch recorded 4 hours of sleep. Is this a software issue that will be updated soon? I wear my watches to bed the same way every time. Haven't had this issue with the original watch ultra or the watch 8 classic.

Hi @kwoods,
Thank you for reaching out to the Samsung Community. We understand how important it is for everything to function smoothly, and we'd be happy to help.
Before we can better assist, we do have a few questions:
We'd also like to share a video that provides a visual walkthrough to ensure all the necessary settings are enabled and that sleep tracking is being used correctly:

Hi @kwoods, thank you for verifying that information.
Keep in mind that movement during sleep can sometimes cause sleep tracking to stop unexpectedly. As mentioned previously, we recommend restarting both your phone and your watch to see if that helps resolve the issue.
You can also run diagnostics on your watch to check the sensors and ensure everything is functioning correctly.
Another step you can try is performing a factory reset on the watch. Before doing so, be sure to back up your watch to prevent any data loss.
If the issue persists after completing these steps, we recommend submitting an error report to the developers. They can review the device logs and provide additional insight into what may be causing the problem, as well as any available updates or solutions.
Please let us know the results of these troubleshooting steps, and if they were able to resolve this for you.

Here is the response I got from Support for my Watch 9 with the issue. I did all the troubleshooting with no luck also. Perhaps we'll get software update:
Thank you for your patience while our team reviewed the logs you provided.
Based on the analysis, it appears that the sleep measurement was interrupted due to movement during sleep. The Galaxy Watch determines sleep status using an algorithm that relies on accelerometer data. As a result, movements such as tossing and turning or arm movement during sleep may be interpreted as wakefulness, which can interrupt sleep tracking.
Our technical team has identified that sleep tracking may be overly sensitive to movement in certain situations and is aware of this behavior. Improvements are being considered for future updates.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused and appreciate your understanding.
If you have any further concerns or questions, please let us know. We will be happy to assist you.
Kind regards,
Ruffa
