I have a Galaxy Watch8 Classic and a Galaxy S26, and there's one Apple Watch feature I'd really like to see Samsung bring to the Galaxy ecosystem.

Apple's Precision Finding allows someone to locate their iPhone from their watch, showing both the distance in feet and the direction to look.

I can already make my S26 ring from my watch, but that isn't quite the same thing. I'd like to know whether my phone is 5 feet away or 50 feet away, and which direction I should be looking.

Given Samsung's existing work with Ultra Wideband (UWB) technology and SmartThings Find/Samsung Find, this seems like a natural evolution of an already useful feature.

I realize there may be hardware limitations with current watches, but I'd certainly like to see Samsung consider it for future models.

I've already submitted this as an official feature request through Samsung Members, but I'm curious what other Galaxy owners think.

Would you find this useful? And does anyone know whether Samsung has discussed introducing this capability?

      @Samsung_Moderator

      I've also submitted this suggestion through the Samsung Members app, but I'd appreciate it if a moderator could tag this discussion as an official feature request so it's easier for the Galaxy Watch product team to find and consider.

      Thanks for your help!
