Bitmoji's not animating

I have several galaxy watches and all of them have bitmoji's as watch faces.  In the 6, 7 and older 8 they are all animated.  I did nothing special to cause this to work, once I put the bitmoji on as a watch face it animated itself.  However, on the newer 8 and 9 smartwatches, the bitmojis do not animate.  Can anyone tell me how this happened and why it isn't happening on the two new watches?

Thanks for any help.
