Truly a heartbreaking loss. Dolly wasn't just a country music legend, she was a beacon of kindness and generosity to so many generations. "I Will Always Love You" and "Coat of Many Colors" will forever be on repeat in my playlist. Rest in peace to a true icon. 🤍

It was a shock to hear of her passing for me. Dolly Parton has been in my life since I was a little girl. My mom won a Dolly Parton look a like contest in our home town years ago. She had the looks the skinny body and she could play and sing. She has always been a songwriter, just like Dolly. My mom looked up to Dolly for inspiration. I can remember her singing, my coat of many colors, along with several other early hits.
When I got the chance to preform. I sang "I will always love you" on stage one New Years eve. It was a mash up between Dolly's and Whitney Houston's rendition together with my own voice.
Dolly Pardon was Country Music! A true Icon. She will be missed dearly. I have never been to her theme Park. I did get the chance to go to her live Dinner and a show restaurant, Pirates ☠️ theme in Florida. It was Awesome! The food was great! Made after her own recipes. It is a big hit! I would like to go again. She had so many different avenues of making her name a household brand. I hope all of these keep going.
You will never be forgotten, Dolly! We will Always Love you!
