As a die-hard Samsung user, I am absolutely head-over-heels in love with One UI 9 and Goodlock. So as I've completely customized ALL of my devices, I can't help but wish I could take it to a whole other level.
If I had my way, these are some of the features I wish I had available with One UI 9......and maybe could (and SHOULD) be added to 9.5 or definitely One UI 10.
1. Edge Panel; Right now, Goodlock only allows you to customize the first "page" of your Edge Panel, which I love, but why not make it so you can customize each "page" in the Panel?
2. Unlock Animation; Right now, you can choose between a pre-set amount of Unlock Animations. The selection is great as is, but why not expand both the Unlock Animation AND Fingerprint Animation. For example; it's "Spooky Season" and I had an idea...........I wanted to try to figure out a way to create an expanding blood splatter animation for my fingerprint unlock. And as many ways as I tried, there was no way to make it happen.
So, Goodlock could not only employ SEASONAL and "HOLIDAY" Unlock Animations, but do the same with fingerprint unlock animations as well.
3. Stickers; As I was customizing my Tab s9 FE, I noticed that the "Stickers" have an annoying limitation.............the size is limited!!
It was my desire to stretch the sticker I created of the word "Deadpool" across the entirety of my home screen. And even though I found a small "hack" to make it as big as it is (long pressing the image in gallery to grab it, but do so in "landscape") it's still not as big as I want it to be. Same with the Deadpool character sitting on top of the word. Both of those stickers are launchers but I would have loved to have them bigger.......it just fits the esthetic better.
Stickers should be able to be formatted to fit the aspect ratios of each device individually!
Im in no way criticizing Samsung, the One UI 9 operating system OR Goodlock......let me be clear I LOVE THEM ALL!! What I am saying, however, is that as an avid fan and a die-hard Samsung user, these additions could take device customization to an entirely new level!!!
Lastly, and this is specifically for tablets (and laptops), there should be an option to move the RECENTS/HOME/BACK buttons to the left, right or center of the homescreen. My tablet hasn't received the One UI 9 update yet, so im waiting to see if that is an option, though I doubt it will be. But it should!
