I am using the Galaxy Buds 4 Pro with an S24 Ultra, both on the latest software updates. During a phone call, the other person on the phone will tell me they hear my background noises while I have "Voice Focus" turned on. Is it possible to fix this, or is this a situation where I need to wait for a future fix update?

Hi @Dr-PSD, thank you for reaching out to the Samsung Community. Voice Focus is a great feature on the Samsung phones, so I can understand wanting it to work with your Buds 4 Pro. I would be more than happy to provide some assistance. The buds themselves have their own form of noise-canceling known as Active Noise Canceling. Do you currently have this enabled?

On your S24 you will open up the settings for your buds from the Bluetooth menu and from there you should see the option to turn it on. You will hear an activation sound when you turn it on.

If you're still having issues I would suggest sending in an error report.

that's mean you won't hear any outside noise..
did you even read his complain??
whatever you turn on or not it's still other side of the call get everything. especially when other people talk around me

Hey @Samsung_Moderator, thanks for your response to my post. I have tried your suggestions to fix my experience, but at this time, anyone I am on the phone with can still hear my background. They can hear people talking if someone is near me, and they can hear generic sounds like backpack zippers or machinery.

I Have same problem. also use is 24 Ultra.
with Galaxy bud 4 Pro , on the other side of the call they hear all the noise. specially when people talk around me .

I figured it out guys, connections, mobile networks, for HD voice calling you got to have VoLTE or advanced calling turn on, but if you go to your mobile networks you'll have VoNR which automatically uses high definition calling so it's already on and that's why we don't have the option

So, this is something that we can't fix ourselves because the VoNR is baked into the phone's call settings, and we can't change it to VoLTE to allow the background noise to be blocked in calls right?
