I just upgraded from the buds Fe to the buds 4 pro and I tried them out for the first time in my living room.
Maybe I'm doing something wrong but after turning the ANC on I could still hear the TV and my boyfriend typing away at the computer. Is it ANC supposed to block nois
So far with this test it doesn't seem like a major improvement over my buds fe

Ditto! Came from Galaxy buds 3 pro and just got the 4 pro. Extremely dissapointed in the ANC! It's not quite as bad as what you're describing, however a definite step down from the 3s. I can still hear noise and way more static. Tried updating, the three different eartips a solid 5 times, and finally a factory reset, no difference. These are the only "attempts to fix" I can find from Samsung.
Considering the price and "upgrade" they are advertised to be, I feel as though some pairs are either defective, or in need of an update! If I didn't have the 3s with such good ANC, I guess I'd be ok with these (and wouldn't know the difference). However, this is not the case.
Luckily I bought them from Costco, and will exchange. If the next pair is the same, I'm returning and will get something else.. Don't appreciate steps backwards when paying more.
