All of a sudden my Chromebook disappeared from my sinked devices when I would do Play Store app updates or app installations. Has anybody else had this experience with a Chromebook or any other Samsung devices?
Steps that may Resolve the Issue: 1. Check your Google account settings and Ensure that your Chromebook is still linked to your account. 2. Verify that sync settings are enabled for your devices. 3. Also, sometimes a simple restart will restore sync. Restart Your Device: Power off your Chromebook completely. Wait a few seconds, then turn it back on. Check if the device reappears in your synced devices list. https://support.google.com/chromebook/answer/2914794?hl=en
I’ve seen this happen with Google Play device syncing. First, make sure the Chromebook is still signed into the same Google account and that ChromeOS is fully updated. You can also check the Chromebook’s Play Store settings and make sure app syncing is still enabled.
If the Chromebook still works normally but only disappeared from the device list when installing apps, try restarting it and signing out/in to the Google account. If it still doesn’t show up afterward, it may be worth checking whether Google Play Services or the Play Store is having a sync issue.
Thank you for responding, I noticed that I do not have the Play store on my Chromebook anymore. It disappeared with the last update. I am willing to bet that if I install the Play store it will show back up as a synced device. I cannot figure out how to install the Play store though...
