I downloaded the current manual from Samsung's website, and it still refers to using the wearable application for the earbuds. The file I downloaded is (dated July 24 2024):

WEA_R530_R630_EN_UG_XEB_071624_FINAL_REV_1.1_AC_072324.pdf

I am aware that the earbuds are no longer found in the wearable application and have not functioned properly for several months, particularly including the ambient sound feature. My earbuds are still under warranty; what would be the most expeditious and easiest way to determine the problem with them?

      A authorized Samsung service center.

After extricating them from the external case, I hit the reset button on the bottom. After about ten seconds, it flashes green and red and it seems to have solved the problem initially after repairing them to my ZF8U. Thanks Robin

The quickest option is to do a basic restart/reset and test Ambient Sound once more, but since the earbuds have been faulty for months and are still under warranty, I’d avoid spending much more time troubleshooting. Take them to Samsung service and explain that Ambient Sound has consistently failed despite restarting/resetting the earbuds. Ask them to test the microphones and Ambient Sound function directl
