The introduction of more universal (CSC) features could significantly benefit various regions, despite the need for compliance with specific local regulations. For example, the network speed meter and SIM management features—allowing users to designate data, texting, and call preferences for individual SIM cards—should be made available on a global scale. There are numerous functionalities currently restricted to certain regions, and expanding their accessibility worldwide would enhance the overall user experience.

Hello,
Thank you for sharing your thoughts on the benefits of introducing more universal CSC features. Expanding functionalities like a network speed meter and enhanced SIM management options globally is indeed a great suggestion, as these tools significantly improve usability for users managing multiple SIM cards or monitoring network performance.
While local regulations can sometimes restrict the implementation of certain features, making as many functionalities as possible universally accessible would undoubtedly enhance the overall user experience. Providing a more consistent feature set across regions not only benefits users but also reinforces the value of a unified ecosystem.
Your feedback highlights an important point—user-centric customization and accessibility should be at the forefront of design decisions. We’ll ensure your ideas are shared with the relevant teams. If you have additional suggestions or examples of features, you’d like to see rolled out globally, please don’t hesitate to share!
Thanks again for contributing to the discussion.

I observe that App Lock is becoming increasingly popular, as many users are keen on this feature, which is currently limited to certain models outside the US. I recall that Nokia used to offer developer devices accessible to the public for those interested in running custom firmware with an unlocked bootloader. There is a significant opportunity for Samsung to tap into this market by introducing an OEM unlockable or developer device globally. While the B models do provide the OEM unlock option, the North American models do not. Consequently, we now have to special order these devices in North America, which also presents challenges due to the mmWave antenna limitations on the B models.
