Do Not Disturb not working

Hi, I've had the problem for several weeks with DND. Im not getting the notifications when someone on my "allowed list" calls or text me. It has never given me a problem before, I double checked my settings with no change. The only time I'll get notified is if im using the phone. Any help would be appreciated.
