After downloading the beta on my Watch 8, one thing I've had to immediately right off is sleep readings. In 8/8.5 sleep stats had always been pretty consistent, but after getting into Beta 9, for all the nice improvements and features, sleep readings have either devolved to erratic V/ECG shaped oscillations between Awake, Light, REM, Deep Sleep states, or spans the entire night as being Awake with randomly long spans of instant Deep Sleep.

This morning, despite seeing the lights actively monitoring my sleep when removing the watch after waking up, the watch had failed reading any Sleep and other stats for the first time since using this watch since this past January. I have not experienced any problems sleeping and these problems have only been noticed since the Beta.

Has anyone else had similar sleep monitoring issues on the Beta?

I reported the same. It's all over the board now. Sometimes doesn't read at all or it's showing stats that aren't even close to my old baseline.

Glad to see I'm not the only one that went to bed at a certain time and it didn't count sleep until 5 hours later for 2 hours. Basically saying I'm dead (tired) when I know **bleep** well I got some solid sleep. Hopefully beta 3 fixes that and the not clearing notifications on watch if dismissed from phone.
