I had to reset my watch and now google assistant is missing on my watch when it used to be there before I reset my galaxy 4 watch. It also doesn't show in the watch playstore any more unless I search for essential watch apps and then when I try to install Google assistant it says my device is incompatible with the Google assistant. I am running oneui6 beta on my watch. I live in the US and I have english us as my default language. Did the beta screw up my access to google assistant? Why is this bug occurring when the google assistant always was available on my watch before and worked with the oneui6 beta when I first installed to my watch? Reseting my watch to factory specs killed the google assistant . I connected to Samsung assistance and they couldn't help me fix this and told me to get a new watch which is BS. This is a google or Samsung software bug and has to be fixed.

To help us understand your issue, could you kindly submit an Error report including Screenshots of the "Incompatible" screen when you attempt to download Google Assistant via Google Play store?
Steps:
Galaxy Wearable Beta app > Click the button on the bottom mid section > Contact Us > Error report> Make sure your report channel is directed to "Galaxy Wearable (BETA)" > Check "Send System log data" > Submit

I just checked out my wife's watch and if I try to download google assistant from the essential apps on the watch play store it also says that the device is incompatible with the Google assistant app. I guarantee that if you reset your galaxy 4 watch then you will also not be able to reinstall the Google assistant under one ui6 beta. This is a major bug and you better get it fixed. So now it's both of my watches saying the Google assistant app is incompatible with both of my watches.

This is not a bug on either side. I have removed google Assistant from my watch per my preference. But your issue sounds more like you've made some changes with bugjeager weather realizing it or not but have removed google Assistant as well and or have run commands to block the app. I would need to know what all you did using bugjeager to assist further but will leave you with a quest. Connect using bugjeager and refresh the packages screen, scroll down to Animals or Ball and you should see assistant, if not, then you need to reinstall yhe apk manually, come back to the packages page, refresh then scroll down to assistant, enable it and press play button. Reboot watch then use playstore to update it.

Try this,
On the watch (not the phone app) , swipe up and click on the play store, scroll all way down to settings click that, scroll down to about and click that, click update play store. now back button out twice and click on manage apps, you should see assistant underneath update all. update it.🖖

Did you try what i suggested? Updating both playstore and assistant? Even after factory reset, it requires an update or you wont see it in your apps. If you sideloaded it, factory reset then try the steps i provided. 🖖

They both were up to date. I am not sure whether side loaded apps can be updated on the watch. I think that my problem will occur with everyone who resets their watch under the watch oneui6 beta. My wife has the same watch and if I go the the watch google play store and I try to download google assistant in the watch essential apps it also comes up that google assistant is not compatible with you device. It must be a watch oneui6 beta bug.

My wife has the same galaxy watch 4 and when I go to the watch play store and I try to download google assistant, I also get the same error on her phone saying that the app is not compatible with your device. I am willing to bet that that error would occur an all galaxy 4 watches that have been reset under the one ui6 beta update. I think that you should test that by resetting a watch on your end to see if google assistant isn't there after the reset and that you can't download it from the watch play store. It seems very unlikely that that error would occur on 2 different watches.

Please try below steps if it resolved your issue:
1. Remove Google account on Watch
2. Remove Google account on Phone and re-login
3. Re-login Google account on Watch
4. Launch Play Store
If the issue persists, then please attach the screenshots and error reports as it would be very helpful for us to evaluate the issues more in detail.

I have a better idea. Why don't you reset a galaxy 4 watch and see if you lose google assistant under the one ui6 beta program, instead of me deleting my google account and losing all of my emails, contacts, calendar events and settings.

I have the same problem. No Google Assistant. I've completed all of the suggestions on this post several times.
All beta updates were done. I have the Galaxy S24+ and Galaxy watch 4.

I know I can't be the only person this happened to. My wife has the same watch and didn't reset her watch. If you do a search for google assistant under watch apps it comes up with Google assistant not being compatible on her watch also just like with my watch under beta one ui6.

Did you try to do the 4 steps as the modulator told me to do by deleting your google accounts on your watch and phone and reinstalling them?

We apologize for the inconvenience with the Google Assistant issue.
Removing Google account will not delete your information saved on Cloud, as watch and phone will restore information back from your backup data (Make sure you backup your data via Settings > Account and backup > Google Drive/ Samsung Cloud Back up data).
However, if you are uncomfortable removing your accounts from your devices, then could you kindly submit the error report once more with screenshots on both your watch / phone?
Based on your previous error report, it seems that your Google Assistant app was searched on your phone's Google Play store and showing the "incompatible" error instead of Watch's Play store.
Current version on the Assistant app from Watch is 1.16.52.660212385.release (updated on Aug 7.2024)
While on Phone's Play store, Assistant app version is 0.1.601924805
Latest Google Play version: 42.6.22-31 [0] [PR] 670642294
Videos would be more helpful as we can see the exact flow of your issue (ie. Watch > Play Store > Searching for Assistance > "Shows device incompatible" alert or Phone > Play Store > Assistant > "Your device isn't compatible with this version".

I have the latest version of google assistant on my watch 4, but I had to sideload it by downloading from APK mirror and using bugjaeger to install it. Google assistant was not available from the watch playstore after resetting my galaxy 4 watch after installing the one ui6 beta update. I think that 95% of galaxy watch owners would not be able to do this, so you better find out what is causing this bug. I can't understand why you can't test this out yourself by resetting your watch to see if the google assistant is missing from the playstore like what happened to me and the other person who said it was also missing after resetting their galaxy watch.

I have the same exact same problem as Johnnyc256. I have been following this post for over a month without commenting. I have a new galaxy s24+ and a galaxy watch 4. After the beta update the assistant is labeled as incompatible with my watch. I've performed all of the suggestions in these posts. I've reset my watch about 10 times and rebuilt from scratch without the restore from backup. I've also done the same with my new phone. I've researched and checked every setting on both units and I can't fix this problem. Do you have any suggestions on what direction I should take? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
P.S. I am not skilled at posting so I hope I did this correctly.

Have you tried lately. Had the same problem with my watch after I reseted it. I had to install it with an apk file that I downloaded from apk mirror. When I searched for assistant for apps to download on the watch store google assistant was never shown as an app to download. I just checked today and it was actually listed. I Uninstaller my google assistant apk file today and I was finally able to find google assistant and download through the watch playstore today. Samsung must have finally fixed the bug and it should now work for you.

I have a strange issue. Google assistant on my watch 6 classic UI 6 When I say message 'babe' the wifey it listens then just stops and doesn't ask what is the message. I can ask it to message other people and it will. It just won't message her or call lol maybe it's jealous lol but very odd. My s23 ultra works if I ask google to call or message
Any ideas would be great
