I really haven't noticed a faster depletion of battery but then I don't use AOD or anything else that keeps the display on all the time. I also use the Sleep mode at night, which also reduces screen on time.
If your battery drainage issue continues after the 4th update (7/26), please report the error back to us via Galaxy Wearable Beta App (Search for contact us > Error Report).
