Yes, I’ve done that (same process as my old tv) but there is only sound and picture on HDMI2 port. On HDMI1 there is only sound. When the EE box is connected to Port 2 it works great but the FireStick in Port 1 only has sound. If I reverse them the tv doesn’t even find the FireStick! Unless I am doing something completely wrong?

As a first step, could you try unplugging both devices from the TV and the mains, then reconnecting them? Once everything is plugged back in, switch the TV to HDMI 1 and check whether the Fire TV Stick is recognised.
If the issue persists, try connecting the Fire TV Stick to HDMI 2 (where the EE box works) to see whether you get both picture and sound. This will help us establish whether the issue is with the HDMI port or the Fire TV Stick itself.

Both devices connect directly to your TV using an HDMI cable:
Connect your EE TV box to one of the HDMI ports on your TV.
Plug your Fire TV Stick into another available HDMI port.
Switch on your TV and press the Home button on your Samsung remote.
Select Source and choose the relevant HDMI input for the device you'd like to use.
You can then switch between your EE TV box and Fire TV Stick whenever you like by changing the HDMI source. Enjoy your new TV!
