Tab A 12 release date

Is there a release date for the Tab A 12 (8.9 inch) yet?

Is there a reliable site with the specs? Any I have looked at just show the same, which looks more like a guess than anything.

I am thinking of replacing my Tab A9 for xmas,if there is a decent improvement.  Though the new alexa tablets look tempting but pricey.
