The a9+ will not be getting the 8.5 (just 2023 variant) only the 2025 variant will be getting the 8.5 update
But will it get 9.0 (android 17)
The 2025 variant will stop at 8.5 like the Samsung policy said 'Budget tablets only get 4 years of Major updates'
This is not confirmed yet and there are no reports.
New update.
The 2025 variant will be getting the Software support in 2031.

You say that the 2025 variant gets 4 years of updates but then say that it won't get One UI9?

2023 will not get One UI8. 5 and it will not get One UI9
2025 version will continue to receive OS updates for several years including One UI9 (not sure about 8.5) and One UI10 if that is launched.

Well I am a A9 plus tab user and apparently samsung confirmed that the A9 plus tab WILL BE receiving the one ui 8.5 update depending on which country you live. I live in France so I will surely receive it at the end of august or in september
