Desktops in One UI 8

Question

Is there any way to disable the desktop feature and make apps open in full screen mode as in UI 7? I shouldn't have to tap twice in two different areas in order to open an app in full screen, particularly as I only have one functioning hand.

Hi there 👋Try this :Enable developer options on your tablet to do so : settings > about tablet > software information > tap 7 times on build number.Go to developer settings and under 'window options' (almost at the bottom) disable the option 'enable freeform activation'.Restart device.

Brilliant fix! It was driving me absolutely, hair pulling crazy. Why there isn't an easy option to set this preference I do not know.
