According to Samsung's list of devices to receive the One UI 8.5 update, the Galaxy Tab A9+ is supposed to receive the update, but I haven't received anything in the UK. Has anyone in the UK received the update yet for the A9+?

Only the 2025 variant (X210R/X216R) is eligible for the One UI 8.5 update and it has already arrived.
The 2023 variant (X210/X216B) is not eligible for One UI 8.5

Could I ask for a more specific description of which models will get it and which will not? I'm not very smart about this build...

First of all, One UI 8.5 rollout has been completed months ago. If your device still hasn't got 8.5, it will never get it.
Secondly, if you are talking about Tab A9+, only SM-X210R and SM-X216R got 8.5 (and most likely will get 9.0 as well). All other Tab A9+ models (and all non-Plus Tab A9 models) will stay on 8.0 forever

Thank you very much for your answer, the new UI 8.5 has not arrived yet, so you have confirmed what I thought. So it is going on sale, what is the point of an outdated tablet, even though it is only a year old since purchase, but I am sorry that the seller did not warn me that this is an older version that will not be updated, my fault. Thank you again for the explanation...
