Samsung email app

I had notifications to say emails had been received, go to the app and no new emails. I now have to manually press the refresh email button to see the new messages. Once pressed they appear instantly. Never had to do this with the older version. Samsung full of resets, even telling me to wipe the cache partition, something they removed in February! Not impressed with the update! 

PS. Rolled back to the previous version and it all works again, so I think the new app is faulty.
