I have a s25 14 month old and the mother board has gone how is this possible

Sorry to hear of your issues...

Simple answer though is quite easily if the device hasn't been looked after or has been dropped. (Not saying you have).

The device is in imacculate condition and has been well looked after

In the UK you get a 2 year warranty. So i assume if it is immaculate condition that the warranty will cover the repair?

Impossible to say. So many factors and points of failure on motherboards as a whole. Contact samsung under warranty

Book it in for an repair or visit any Samsung service centre for an inspection
