Hello Samsung Team,
I would like to request more control over the automatic link detection feature in Samsung Notes.
Currently, the “Show links in notes” setting applies to everything, including URLs, dates, times, phone numbers and other numerical text. While automatic web linking is useful, linking dates and numbers can be unnecessary and disruptive.
It would be much better to have separate toggles for:
Web URLs – keep website links clickable.
Smart links – enable or disable automatic detection of dates, times, phone numbers, addresses and other numerical text.
Alternatively, users should at least be able to manually remove or unlink unwanted automatically generated links.
A little more flexibility in this feature would greatly improve the Samsung Notes experience and give users better control over their notes.
Thank you for considering this suggestion.

Best to send feeback via Members App on this one as Developers do not tend to be active on the community. There is a software suggestions thread https://eu.community.samsung.com/t5/mobile-apps-services/the-suggestions-amp-ideas-thread-for-software-based-features/td-p/243616/page/29. Web version still locked at moment though.

Hi @JayBey and @JAMES4578
The Suggestions & Ideas thread can now be found at https://community.samsung.com/uk/conversations/mobile-apps-services/the-suggestions-amp-ideas-thread-for-software-based-features/eu_243616
I've also pinned it again, so you should see now see it near the top of the Mobile Apps & Services board
