Gallery App s26

Question

Suddenly I am left with only 82 photos in my Gallery instead of the very many more that I had. Where have i all my photos gone to and how can I get them back

Check recycle bin? And if you have services like Google photos backup etc.If you don't use ANY backup like Google photos, and bin is empty....not much you can do. However, images don't just dissappear which points to a backup somewhere
