Smarthings latest update break TAG 2 admin

Had an issue today where my TAG 2 kept saying it was connected then disconnected every 30mins or so.  

Launched SmartThings to try and connect but it was just stuck connecting and I couldn't even scroll the menu screen up/down.

Did a reset of the tag and found I could connect but not do anything configuration wise with it.  It connected fine but I couldn't get past the "Continue" button an the first screen.

Did a bit of reading and there seems to be an issue with the latest update breaking the Tag 2 addon.  I downloaded an older version of SmartThings (1.8.27.22) and installed this after uninstalling the current version.  

Immediately I was able to connect to the TAG and use the menu's etc just fine and configure a routine.

I then updated the app tot he latest version and the latest plug-in then installed and it went back to broken and can't use the menus again in the TAG 2 menu's.  Every other device I can manage just fine just not my TAG 2 device.  

So this is just an information post for anyone else with the same issue who may come looking here.  Remove the SmartThings app and install an older version (get it from APK Mirror) then you should be fine.
