lost smart tag 2

Question

My smart tag 2 must have dropped out of a bag in the Munich airport. Once home in the US, I could see it on the map in smart things. It's in Germany, I've seen it in several cities/towns. Not expecting it back, but wanted to know can the person track me? Is there a way to permanently disable it so no one else can use it?

Re-writing this as I totally forgot which tag was which.You can't be tracked by someone having your tag, but the tag does contain some info about you. As an anti stalker thing, someone with the tag could potentially see your samsung account.As for permanently disabling it, you can enable lost mode which permanently locks it to your account. So someone can't reset it and use it for themselves. But then it always shows some details about you to whoever scans it. (So they can return it to you)If you want to just forget about it, you should be able to just remove it from your account

Even if offline, not connected it will show in the Find app, click the 3 dots and select remove, done, gone, can only be tracked by the linked account, as in yours.
