-Smaller & lighter: About 35% smaller and 33% lighter than the previous gen—much easier to put on keys, pets, or small bags.
-Fruit Support: For the first time, you can share tag locations with friends/family who use iPhones (via SmartThings Find).
-Battery life: Up to 550 days with normal use (and up to 790 days in Power Saving Mode).
-Better range & tracking: Uses Bluetooth 6.0 Channel Sounding to give you directional tracking up to 60 meters away (3x farther than before), plus UWB for close-range finding.
-Proactive alerts: Set up "Place Notifications" so you get pinged if your pet leaves the yard or your bike moves, plus new movement alerts.
-The usual good stuff: IP67 water/dust resistance, NFC Lost Mode, SmartThings button routines, and encrypted location data.
-Release date: Launching first in Korea on Oct 7, 2026, then the US, with a wider rollout planned for 2027. Comes in White and Black!
