Hi all.

I have several smart tags and had the in the smart things app, for my luggage and my dog while tends to run away when she gets excited.

My phone has been broken (water damaged) so can't turn on, how do I add them to my new handset?

I've followed the instruction on the app but nothing works.

      Hi @LeeGillies

      Welcome to the community forum.

Were the tags linked to your Samsung account or Google account? Did you try to transfer those account to the new phone?

What sort of error do you get? Could you expand on what nothing means?

      Hi.
I did try and transfer my account across but they didn't transfer across my ear pods and speaker did but they didn't.
And when I say nothing I meant the tag beeps when iniress the middle button but when I remove the battery and press it there is no sound and when I hold the middle button while re-inserting the battery there is no sound.

To reset a Samsung Galaxy SmartTag2, you need to remove the battery, press and hold the button while reinserting the battery, and then hold the button for a few seconds until you hear a beep. This process removes the tag from its previous pairing and allows it to be set up with a new device. :electric-light-bulb:

Hi I recently bought a samsung air tag. But it's being connected to someone else's account. And I am not able to reset it. What should I do throw it? Or send it back to samsung?
