A lot has been made of the new liquid glass announcement from Apple, however I believe the key area they have taken the lead in is overall dynamatism in the UI. Gaussian blur looks better in my opinion, however one ui 8 needs further implementation of animations when interacting with the UI, no matter how small, something Google has done with their redesign. To prevent falling behind, more attention to the small details are needed, with fun, interactive animations wherever you interact with the phone

Look up "android material design 3". It's not out yet but it's kinda the second half of android 16. It revamps the ui of android itself.

So what you're asking for might be coming soon with that full release

I hope so, although I am not sure what inspiration they are taking from material you expressive 3. While I prefer the overall look of One UI, I love how fun pixelUI looks

I got the impression the material 3 expressive is going to be exclusive to pixel UI

That was my thoughts, but we can hope some things transfer across

There is no praise to be had for Apple and iOS 26. All they did was introduce a theme that mirrors Windows Vista, which was released in 2007, almost two decades ago!

      There is no innovation there.
