I hate having to show the battery %. Gives me anxiety. Let us remove the text and keep icon.

Yeah, I'm not sure why they removed it but they'll probably add it back soon

Thanks for sharing your feedback! I’ll pass along your suggestion to allow hiding the battery percentage while keeping the icon. It would be great to hear from other users too, so feel free to share your thoughts on this feature! 😉

They will not change any designs in beta 3 or later anymore, from now on coming most time only bug fixes

Well I like the number and the visual, I have both I'm good with it as the number is more informative. You're able to turn or the visual in settings, notification, Status Bar.

You can show the battery icon with percentage, or percentage without the icon.

In the past there was an option to slow the icon, without the percentage, which was recently removed

I've returned to OneUI 8.0 for this reason. Like my battery icon like this. Samsung removed the option in 8.5. No sign of it in OneUI 9 either. Hate Samsung sometimes for removing things.
