Spotify alarm not working

Today the spotify alarm was silent and just vibrated. I did have data off and I understand that is a pre requisite of the alarm sounding. Ive not tried to download the track I guess that could work however when I put data on still no sound anyone else had the same. I wondered if it were possible to have it so if spotify fails it defaults to a beep ringtone or bixby alarm. Has anyone else had this issue?

Thanks for sharing this. The Spotify alarm relies on the track being available offline at the time it triggers, and if it can’t load properly it may result in vibration only. There is currently no built-in fallback sound option if Spotify fails to play.
