Goggle wallet is known to not work with Beta firmware, however this doesn't always affect all beta users. With One UI 8.5 beta my Google wallet worked with no issues or any warning messages popping up. With the One UI 9.0 beta, the message is occasionally popping up but it still works for me.
I spoke to soon, it was working on the first day I installed the beta, even with the message popping up. I tried to pay last night and it's now blocked for me. If you have a wear os watch and you have your cards already set up on the watch, then you should be able to use Google wallet on your watch still, I'm going to give it a try later
I can confirm that Google Wallet app may not work with Beta software version. Payments with Google Wallet will work as usual when stable version of software is released. If you would like to continue using contactless payments during Beta Programme, you can still use Samsung Wallet instead.

I can confirm that Google Wallet app may not work with Beta software version. Payments with Google Wallet will work as usual when stable version of software is released. If you would like to continue using contactless payments during Beta Programme, you can still use Samsung Wallet instead.
