Buds4 Pro head gestures not working?

After the beta update to OneUI 9, I noticed the head gestures of the Buds4 Pro aren't working, both with the accept or decline gesture, and the Bixby gestures. Whenever the buds are placed in their case, the settings for head gestures turn off automatically. The gestures only work during the tutorial.
Is anyone else having this issue?

I have the same issue with my Galaxy Z Fold8 running stable OneUI 9.0.
Head gesture features gets disabled automatically when the buds 4 pro are placed back into the case.
It is then necessary to manually re-enable the feature when the buds are out of the case.
