The latest update for the One UI 8.5 Beta has left my S25 Ultra struggling on basic tasks like unlocking the phone with a fingerprint, which is taking up to 10 seconds after tapping my finger to process. My camera keeps failing, apps are struggling to open, and my phone feels laggy and broken.

With the camera have you checked your permissions to see all is ok there/ Apps-Camera-Permissions. Are on you the latest camera update and are you ab to Reset the camera, via Settings- Reset Settings in the app. An idea to Force stop via Apps-Camera and then clear cache via storage-Clear Data and cache. For the lagging issue you could optimise in Device Care,run the Galaxy App Booster and try a Soft Restart by holding the power and Volume Down simultaneously for 10 seconds until Device Reboots.
However it may be Beta related though do not have any significant issues personally, therefore may need to send an Error Report.

Unfortunately this can be the result of using a beta build, one beta can be running fine and the next update can cause lagging. It's worth checking which apps are running constantly in the background and I suggest switching on RAM+ in settings and select the amount of extra RAM you want to use. This should help with the lag, I hope this helps 🙏

My daughter just got the s25 ultra. It's stutters, app delay, doesn't have wallpaper and style. This phone is horrible. I updated it, I reset the cache and took off app permissions. I restarted the phone. This phone is so horrible that she's crying to have her s24 ultra back.
There is no new update 🤦
