Anyone else's phone seems to be running a little warmer post UI 9.0 install. I notice the phone in my hand more often and sense heat when it wasn't there before install. Not ridiculously so but warm enough to make me go, mmm, that definitely feels a bit warmer than I'm used to.

I have noticed a slight rise in heat every now again and am not using the phone any different since pre 9.0 beta

Give it a while to settle tge phones often doing things in the background. Have you turned it off fully and back on again since first reboot after update.

Thanks. I'll try a restart and see how it goes

Yep. The restart tip was a good one. Back of the phone cooled down after restart. Must be something working overtime during that update.

My phone was warm for an hour after update then I decided to reboot again and the heat has gone away. My guess is something in the update was stuck till I turned it off and back on

Install the good guardians app from the galaxy store then get the thermal guardian. It helps to see what is causing any heat issues. There are also some settings to help keep your phone cooler. There are also some other useful tools. It's an official Samsung app. 1788939159103.jpg1788939159112.jpg1788939159120.jpg
