Well apple has one phone to worry about and all their variants of iPhones are basically the same. so they can easily push out updates one time to their phones
How exactly can they do the same when all android phones have different chip sets, hardware and features. iPhones on the other hand, apple controls the hardware and software. That's why they can release updates to all iPhones at the same time. All iPhones look the same but all androids don't. I agree all markets should get the update at the same time instead on different days
