Playing games or watching videos on any device will consume more battery power than normal. Phones with large although optimized screens, such as the Ultra variants will similarly be impacted. Despite having a slightly larger battery, its other component technology hasn't improved much, if any. The Ultra's processor is also the same as the other model variants. Furthermore, many if not most people with large-screen phones will be inclined to use their devices more than average. Most complaints are, apparently, coming from such users.

Since updating my standard S24 to One Ul 7, it hasn't been significantly impacted by any of the reported issues. If the memory or battery drain is faster, it's due to my higher than normal usage, exploring the best features of One Ul 7. I'm quite ok with having to recharge accordingly. Don't always expect greater performance and satisfaction from the same basic hardware. Software is similar to mind over body matter. In as much as the mind pushes the body for bigger dreams and gains, so too the body will become exhausted sooner trying to keep pace. Expectations always exceed reality.

Similarly, software will always exhaust hardware making current technology obsolete sooner than expected. Don't expect not having to upgrade your hardware sooner than the promised software support period.

Perhaps, Samsung is hoping more users will upgrade to one of their newer products. Software updates alone won't do much for their financial outlook unless it's sustained by hardware sales. That's the stark reality despite higher user expectations and disappointment in some cases.

Hey, it's not related to all that stuff, my battery life is a bit different, not hugely, but you can tell. Hopefully, it'll get better soon.
