Header - Did you know?
Did you know you can adjust the spacing between buttons in the Quick Panel on your Samsung Galaxy device with One UI 8.5? This feature ensures that the buttons are spaced out for easier navigation and a cleaner look. Set proper spacing and automatically resize the buttons based on e.g., the size of your fingers for improved usability.
Steps to follow in order to modify button spacing:
Step 1. Open Galaxy Store > Search for and install Good Lock > Install and open QuickStar.
Highlighted Good Lock download icon, leading to highlighted QuickStar download icon and app view after installation.
Step 2. Enable QuickStar > Tap Advanced settings > Enable Button spacing and adjust the spacing by using the slider.
Highlighted toggle switch for QuickStar activation, leading to highlighted Advanced settings and Button spacing feature.
The Quick Panel layout with a rather wide button spacing setting is shown below.
Button spacing slider set close to the widest value and the Quick Panel layout with visible relatively large buttons and spaces between them.
The same Quick Panel with button spacing set to almost the narrowest value can be seen beneath.
Button spacing slider set close to the narrowest value and the Quick Panel layout with visible relatively small buttons and spaces between them.
Imagine a Quick Panel that feels just right - no more overcrowded toggles or unnecessary gaps. Simply properly spaced buttons making it easier to access controls without accidentally tapping the wrong one. It's all about creating a layout that works for you.
Note: This feature may vary depending on the installed software version, device model or region.
