Gemini AI has taken over my Galaxy A56 5G. And I can not stop it. It starts every 5tj second and send News from internet and hence stopping other apps from working. I am in Sweden- what to do. Even if I went to list of apps and stopped it - it does not stopp.

I stoped Gemini AI on my phone all together. The only way I could solve the problem.

It sounds like a rogue third-party app or a web notification is disguised as Gemini to send continuous pop-ups and news alerts. Official system apps like Google Gemini do not push repeating full-screen alerts or interrupt other apps every few seconds.

Follow these steps in order to isolate and fix the issue on your Galaxy A56:

      Restart in Safe Mode
      Isolate third-party apps
Press and hold the Power menu, then tap and hold the Power Off icon until the Safe Mode prompt appears. Tap Safe Mode to restart. Safe Mode disables all third-party apps. If the pop-ups stop immediately, a recently downloaded app is causing the issue.
      2
      Check Chrome Notification Permissions
      Most common cause
Open Chrome > tap the three dots (top right) > Settings > Site settings > Notifications. Look under the Allowed list. If you see any unrecognized websites or suspicious links, tap them and select Remove & reset (or turn off notifications for that site).

      Identify and Uninstall Malicious Apps
      Check recent installs
Go to Settings > Apps. Sort the list by Last used or Last updated. Look for suspicious apps, utility apps (like "cleaners," "flashlights," or "boosters"), or apps without a proper name or icon, and tap Uninstall.
      4
      Reset App Preferences
      If force stopping failed
Go to Settings > Apps > tap the three dots (top right) > select Reset app preferences. This resets background limits and permission overrides without deleting your personal data. Best regards AndroidSweden

      Hey 👋 👋

It looks like @Androidsweden41 has shared several good troubleshooting steps that often help with this type of recurring pop-up/notification issue.

Did any of the steps, such as safe mode, checking Chrome notifications, or going through recently installed apps, help? 😊😊
