TAB S6 Keyboard Book Cover Case not working.

I purchased this tablet last march and It was working fine but I haven't needed the keyboard the past four weeks or so and as the cover is so unwieldy when you are just using it as a tablet I had it removed. I had some things I needed to use and connects it for Dex mode and now it doesn't work at all. For the premium tablet this stinks . Anyone know how to fix this
