We purchase a Galaxy A8 (WIFI only) tablet last weekend and I want to redeem the free keyboard that comes with it. However, the device doesn't have an IMEI which is required in the samsung redemption website, any insights how I can proceed with this? Thanks!

The Wi-Fi version doesn't have a SIM slot.

I understand that. So, I'm gonna need to find a way to redeem the item without the IMEI in the samsung redemtion page.

It should work. I purchased an S7 FE WiFi and redeemed the keyboard using the SN.

Your Samsung Galaxy A8 Tab only supports Wi-Fi, so it does not have an IMEI number. However, you can redeem your Free Keyboard by finding a different identifier.

A) Locate your Samsung Galaxy A8 Tablet Model & Serial number.

The back of your device: The serial number is printed in small text on the back of the device near the bottom.

The packaging: The original box may list the device's full serial number.

Bill of sale: Review your sales receipt or contract for your device's serial number.

B) Assistance through Remote Support in Samsung Members app.

Open Samsung Members app.

Tap Supports at the lower right of the screen.

Go to Quick Help.

Tap Remote supports.
