For those who have already updated to one ui 8.5, does anyone recommend doing it now or waiting after a few weeks/months? How was your experience?

better battery life since april 2026 patch really drain my battery life, so you need to get may 2026 patch, however if yours already got may 2026 patch you may not feel the difference
finally i can bring back battery indicator with just number + percentage, i never fan of one ui 8.0 battery icon, so 8.5 fix that
customizable quick panel, make your phone unique to yourself
tbh i recommend update now, there's no point delay the update, 8.5 is true form of 8.0, same android 16 but with more customization
