That was also my experience back then. But I always make it a habit to factory reset my device every time I receive a major software update and it always works like a charm. The initial rollout of One UIs has always been plagued with bugs, but the next updates always try to iron these out.

If you just updated recently, give it some time to settle down, but if it keeps on doing that after a week, a reset can always help. You can also report here in Samsung Members for them to look at your logs helping the developers what to fix next time.
