Using DEX

No es necesario el DeX Station o Pad. Con un Cable USB-C a HDMI se puede.
No need of a DeX Station or Pad, you can use a USB-C to HDMI cable.

Te recomiendo usar un teclado Bluetooth para escribir, es un poco difícil usar la pantalla para escribir y como touchpad.
I highly recommend you to use a Bluetooth keyboard to use DeX, is difficult to use the phone's screen to type and as a touchpad.

For Android O, the DeX function for the Galaxy S9+ requires a DeX Station device, due to driver issues that this Galaxy model doesn't have.

 

We implemented improvements in Android P, now it's not necessary to use the DeX Station in your Galaxy, only the cable, since the function was added.

 

The advantage of the DeX Station with respect to the cable is that it has a fan to prevent overheating, as well as a USB port to connect other peripherals and an Ethernet port.
