So I just upgraded to oneui 7 and the first day I used it the battery life was better than when I was running on oneui 6, but today the battery life seems to be draining as usual. Can I know any reason for this or is this just normal. (FYI : My phone survived almost 24hrs with a screen time of 3 - 4hrs yesterday.)

Device : S23fe

Hi! Yes, what you’re experiencing is completely normal after a major update like One UI 7. The system needs a few days to re-optimize apps and background processes, which can cause temporary fluctuations in battery life.

Here are a few tips to help:

    • Give it 3–5 full charge cycles for the system to settle.
    • Go to Settings > Battery > Background usage limits, and put unused apps to sleep.
    • Wipe cache partition from recovery mode (safe and effective after updates).
    • Keep an eye on Battery usage stats to spot any apps draining unusually.
    • Make sure all apps are updated to the latest version via Galaxy Store & Play Store.

Sounds like your first-day stats were promising, so it should stabilize again soon!

Should I clear cache everyday or once a week or just only once?

Its definitely normal. All users experience battery drain after One Ui 7 for all devices. Turn on the battery saving options and use your phone as normal. After like 1 week the phone will get used to the new update. And after Samsung releases the next security update for your S23 FE. The battery will improve Bro. Hope my comment is helpful for you.

If my comment helped you in any way. Please consider hitting the 3 dot menu of my comment and accept it as a solution. It would be helpful for me a lot.
    Thank you 😊

After an update, it is normally to drain battery fast because the device need to understand the usage of it.

If after several days ( max 1 week ) that not works,

    1. Try to wipe Cache Partition
    Or that did not help

    2. Flash the official firmware using odin ( backup the device data )

    Hi 👋
try these settings on your phone 📲
1.go to the power saving mood then you can see 3 things on it. On these settings
    *limit CPU speed to 70%
    *decrease brightness by 10%
    *limit apps and home screen
    2.use dark mood
    3.use brightness level between 0%-30%
    4.turn off Auto rotation
5.If you use mobite data change to the wifi
6.turn off bluetooth and some unused options.
7.if you have lot of unused apps, zip or sleep these apps

So if my comment is useful to you, use the 3 dots in my comment for accept my comment as a solution. 😉 👍

I had the same issue on my S23 Ultra after updating to One UI 7. But now it's pretty normal. Give it some time.. it'll back to be normal 😊
