I’m facing a fingerprint issue on my Samsung Galaxy A06 (SM-A065F) after the Android 16 update.
The fingerprint sensor stopped working after the update. When I try to add a new fingerprint through Settings, the screen becomes completely blank.
I have already restarted my phone, tried Safe Mode, and even performed a factory reset, but the issue still persists.
Could you please tell me whether this is a known software bug and whether Samsung is planning to release an update to fix it? Or could this be a hardware problem?
Please help me resolve this issue. Thank you.

Hi !!
Did u test the Finger Print with the samsung Diagnosis test. If t still fails. Please clear the cache and trying these are the last possible test. And also we cannot say that this is a bug because most users havent reported this after there update 🙏

Did u try cleaning the finger print sensor there might be dust and also look for the option to clear the cache 🙏
