It depends on the type of model right. Old devices like Galaxy A10 get updates quarterly.

I get updates monthly still. As devices get older they will get updates quaterly and after a while it will be biannually. And in the end it'll stop

Yep... I'm still getting monthly. But I think it will move to quarterly pretty soon.

Most of the time it depends on the model bro. But Samsung always try to give more software updates when comparing to other phone brands. You don't want to worry about when it comes to software updates.
