Enable DND service on your mobile number and you will no longer receive any spam messages.

There are many important sms which are too without number. DND would prevent all important sms as well. So I have sms whose display name can be used to block that specific sender.

You can block it partially as well. In case of jio you can block promotional sms and you will keep receiving messages from bank. Not sure about other operators.

This feature is not supported by Samsung messages. You can use Google messages to block SMSs from non-number sender.

Thank you. I think I should use Google sms, as previously also I used Android One having google sms app. Thanks for your suggestion & great help. 😊👍🏻

In near future every Samsung device may run Google messages, with improved RCS. If you really wnat to enjoy Google messages in your Samsung device then don't install it from playstore. Just download it from APK mirror. The Google messages app specially designed for Samsung devices is not available on playstore for us as of now, so you have to sideload it. Download the app from the given link(https://www.apkmirror.com/apk/google-inc/messenger-google-inc/messenger-google-inc-8-1-050-release/messages-8-1-050-rowan_rc04-phone_samsung_dynamic-android-apk-download/) and also download Split apk installer form playstore to install this apk bundle.
