To the esteemed Samsung Members community and development team, I am writing to propose a significant improvement to the Samsung Notes application that would greatly benefit a large segment of users, particularly those in regions where right-to-left (RTL) languages are prevalent. My suggestion is to implement an independent language setting within the Samsung Notes application, separate from the device's system language. This functionality is already common in many other applications, allowing users to choose their preferred in-app language regardless of their device's primary language setting. The primary motivation for this enhancement is to enable RTL language users to fully utilize the new Math Solver feature without needing to change their device's system language to English. Currently, users whose device language is set to an RTL language may encounter difficulties or limitations when attempting to use features designed with left-to-right text flow in mind, such as the Math Solver. Forcing a system-wide language change to English just to access a specific app feature creates an inconvenient and suboptimal user experience. By allowing users to set Samsung Notes to English (or any other desired language) while keeping their device's system language in their native RTL language, we would empower them to seamlessly leverage all features, including the Math Solver, without compromising their overall device usability. This change would significantly enhance the accessibility and practicality of Samsung Notes for a global user base. Thank you for considering this proposal.
