Time shift

Question

I currently have a Samsung TV that has time shift capabilities (ability to pause and then play/fast forward live TV, using an external hard drive) and I want to purchase another one with the same capability. Do you think I can get a straight answer about if this feature still exists. After spending considerable time in the live chat, first with AI and then with a 'real' person, the real person closed the chat by saying you tell me what TV you want to buy and then I'll tell you if it has time shift. Before I could answer (ie immediately), she closed the chat. Not helpful Samsung.

Considering the different models available, your best bet is to narrow down your price range and features to a few then try it out in store. Chat often gives conflicting information.

No, never found one helpful yet! Still considering how many people have been telling horror stories about Samsung Tellies in my life. Perhaps it's good that they aren't helpful, saving me from stupid buy.🤔❤😂
